 Reading

填空題中有20題單字題，有些是看空格前後幾字就可以答出，如：

1. If you encounter problems,….

2. …to be available for…

3. You should follow the provided guidelines….

有些則是要把句子的靈魂SV也一併找出，如：

4. Our employees strive to provide continual support to serve our customers…

5. You will find that [Place A] is as amazing as [Place B]. (wrong option: imaginative)

6. This schedule provides the complete sequence of special events..

7. The customers will be initially charged a fee but they will be reimbursed after completion of the program.

Part 6共考4篇，單字題則出現在其中3篇，是再加上前句或後句就可以選出如：

8. 有1篇介紹自然生態：What you will find special are the native plants (另一個錯誤選項為: animals) in this national park. 原因在於後一句有提到枝葉茂盛等相關句，如：They have grown in abundance, adding greenery to the area.

9. 有1篇是報導，介紹某公司徵實習生interns，包含去該公司實習的人的心得，如：For many (另一個錯誤選項為: less), XYZ is the ideal company to help them learn new skills and get more experience.

10. 接續上1篇，最後一句考：The company considers (另外兩個錯誤選項為: recommends及 promotes) candidates with an experience in….Those who are eligible are encouraged to apply through XYZ’s website.

11. 有1篇是公司寫給客戶的信：Thank you for your purchase (另一個錯誤選項為: interest). 原因在於後一句有提供客戶購買商品的資訊：I am sure that you will find this new microwave a reliable and useful product.

填空題中單字題外的32題多數屬於基本題，主要考：

◎    詞性變化 ex: Mr. Brown put a lot of emphasis on the issue. (其他錯誤選項如: emphasize, emphasized…)

◎    代名詞 ex: The employees will find out that….themselves. (其他錯誤選項如: them, their, theirs)

◎    動詞題：

→ 單複數一致性ex: The associates have announced that…(其他錯誤選項如: associate, association, associated, associating…)

→ 時態

→ 主被動  

◎    介係詞

ex: The worker responded to the announcement by Ving. (其他錯誤選項如: to, with, for…)

ex: …..at 7am. (其他錯誤選項如: on, in…)

◎    關代 ex: …wherever + SV

◎    分詞

◎    連接詞 ex: Because of +n,….(其他錯誤選項如: Because, Therefore, As…)

這次沒有考到的主題：graphs or charts有圖表的文章、recipes食譜、estimates估價的文章、instructions給指示的文章。

有考的文章類型為：ads, emails (含比較商品), letters, schedules, and reports.

同義字題在PART 7中占2題：

1. Once you receive the order,… (= as soon as)

2. 好像是考reflect? 同義字忘了，但也很簡單

這次心得介紹將著重在單字介紹及文章與答案間的同義字替換。

= to encourage company staff to recommend new hires

→ List of rental cars : four-wheel drive / front-wheel drive

→ car = vehicle
