Listening Overall Steps

When Section 1 “example” is read:

Ignore it, and jump to Section 3 or 4 (start from “multiple choice” section)

Note: Sometimes, most multiple choice questions are in Section 2. In that case, spend some time on Section 2 first.

When “example” is finished:

Go back to Section 1 and concentrate (Q1-10)

Note: Write ALL answers on your book, NOT answer sheet

↓

When Section 1 is finished (there is a 30-second break):

Jump to Section 3 or 4 and keep going through questions

↓

When Section 2 starts (there is so time to go through Q11-15):

Go back to Section 2 and concentrate (Q11-20)

↓

When Section 2 is finished (there is a 30-second break):

Jump to Section 3 or 4 and keep going through questions

↓

When Section 3 starts (there is so time to go through Q21-30):

Go back to Section 3 and concentrate (Q21-30)

↓

When Section 3 is finished:

Fully concentrate on Section 4 from now on (Q31-40)

When Section 4 is finished:

You will have more than enough time to transfer answers from book to answer sheet (10 minutes)

Overall Key to success: The ability to JUMP between sections, and CONCENTRATE on the part you are working on
